Mr. Sandoval enjoying a day of soothing after boozing!!!

The Hot Springs offers a large pool indoors and several other small private indoor and outdoor pools for up to six people. The water temperature is extremely HOT!! the sign reads it's best not to stay no longer that 5 miniutes in the water. If you have a 4x4 vehicle it will help due to the gravel roads, if not I have made it out there in a Nissan Sentra before. Use caution when driving out there. Due to heavy rain fall the small concrete bridges get errosion which in turn causes large amounts of concrete to be ripped out approach slowly. The drive can be dusty in the summer, if you have a pick up truck for the persons in the back it can be pretty dirty and dusty. You can stay over night at the Aguas Termales the cost is 100 pesos with no electricty and water. The rooms are fair and can make an enjoyable night bring your pads and sleeping bags.

TELEPHONES

Making calls outside of Mexico, requires a calling card. You can purchase cards at just about any deposito or Pharmacia in town. El Aguaje deposito, on the main road to El Potrero Chico has a phone just outside the store. The cost of the card can vary from 30-50 pesos depending on the amount of calling time. A 30 peso card will give you approx 6 min of talk time. To call the U.S dial 001 + Area code + seven digit number. Public telephones are avaliable close to the potrero.

Hacienda del Muerto Mina N.L.
Spanish Mission

Located on the dirt road to the Hot Springs it dates back to over 400 years ago. The mission was destroyed during the mexican revolution. Parts of the mission are in ruins, the church still stands. A bullet found by Tejano Music Legend Chris Sandoval.

Cooking it up!!

Mexicanos are some of the best cooks. Pack that Ice chest with big cold sandwitches (cuguamas) food, water, and some mesquite wood for cooking. Los aguas Termales is truly a soothing and relaxing place to visit.

Mientras usted disfruta de un bano relajante en las aguas thermales, contamos con instalaciones para que disfrute de una suculenta parrillada a la mexicana.
